Nikki is an actor and I had contacted her inquiring if she required head shots and body portraits for her actor's portfolio. She did and we agreed to do a shoot at Walsh Bay two months down the track. It was a little iffy if the shoot was to go ahead as heavy rains were predicted for the Saturday of the shoot, and we were in constant contact with each other right up to the time of the shoot when we decided to give it a go.
It's amazing the shots you can get when you are forced to improvise, many of these shots were undercover in areas I hadn't considered shooting before.
In most instances two off camera flashes in umbrellas were used. The main was lower than I usually have it, being about neck high. The second was much higher.
